The money is deducted at the time you place your order.

Do you charge tax?
Brooklyn Industries charges tax on orders shipped to the following states:

Online orders shipped to Illinois are taxed 6.25%. (Whereas, customers who shop in our Chicago location are taxed 9.25%.)

New York: 
4.4375% On items under $110 each.
8.875% On each bag, clothing item or bag item over $110.

I have a promotion code, where do I enter it?
Promotional codes can only be entered in the box in the shopping cart. Enter the promo code in the box and click “Apply”. Free Shipping discounts may not display until the qualifying shipping method has been chosen, at the last step of checkout.

How will I know that my order has been placed successfully?
Once your order has been processed you will be redirected to an order confirmation screen, which contains all of your order information and your order number.   You will also receive an automated e-mail confirmation.  If you have seen the confirmation screen but don't receive an e-mail, please check your spam folder, or contact us.

How long does it take to process my order?
Orders typically ship the next business day, but please allow up to two business days for processing and longer for peak periods such as sale or the holidays.  If items are out of stock please allow up to 3 extra business days for items to be transferred to our internet warehouse so we can ship to you.  Please know that we will work to get your orders out as quickly as we can. Orders placed after 2PM usually will not ship until the next business day, including orders with express shipping. Lastly, if you need your order expedited, please contact customer service ASAP.

What if I receive a partial shipment?

While we try our hardest to ensure accurate inventory and prompt delivery, once in a blue moon there may be errors and we may have to ship your order partially and cancel out of stock items from your order.  If this occurs we will do our best to notify you, but note that we won't be able to send a separate shipment for the cancelled item.  A future order must be placed if and/or when the out of stock item returns to our inventory.  

Can I make a change to my order after it has been placed?
As long as you contact us before your order has shipped, we can make changes to or cancel your order. Orders cannot be changed or canceled once they have shipped.

What if my item is out of stock? 
If your item is out of stock, we will ship ahead the rest of the items in your order and ship the out of stock item when it comes back in stock. If the item is completely sold out, you will not be charged. Please note, International orders will only be shipped in full, out of stock items can either be cancelled or the order can be held until the missing item arrives.

How can I check the status of my order?
You will receive e-mail notifications as your order status is updated. You can also check the status of your order by logging in to your account and clicking on “Order History”

Will I get a receipt with my order?
A packing slip with pricing information will be enclosed with your order unless it is a gift order. Your order confirmation e-mail also acts as your receipt. You can also log into your account to view your order history and charges.

Do you offer gift services?
Brooklyn Industries offers Free gift messages on every order; Gift-wrapping is available on most items for a fee of $4.00 (Kraft Paper Gift Box and Brooklyn Industries Tissue Paper). We also offer Gift Cards in multiple denominations which can be redeemed at any Brooklyn Industries retail store or on this website.

Can I receive a price adjustment on sale items or limited-time promotions? 
If an item is marked down permanently within fourteen (14) days of purchase, Brooklyn Industries will honor a price adjustment in the form of a Brooklyn Industries gift card for the price difference. Original proof of purchase is required, please contact Customer Service to request a credit. Cash refunds will not be issued. Price adjustments are not available on limited time promotions, including Free Shipping offers and Percent Off sales.
